Amigurumi August

For the entire month of August 2023 I set myself against a crazy challenge! I was going to make a complete Amigurumi every single day. I picked a variety of patterns that challenged my skills and helped me grow as an artist. A few days in my wonderful husband, Andrew, (who has an incredible eye for photography and cinematography) started helping me make stop motion videos to accompany all my pieces. What we weaved together in the end was absolutely far and above anything I had ever envisioned on August 1st! Below you can see the initial still shots, all of the daily videos and the our pièce de résistance, a linear stop motion story featuring all the makes from the month!
